Visitors to the Square Mile can discover the sculptures with tours, trails and a range of other festivities. Part of the official programme of London Festival of Architecture, visitors will be invited to explore the theme of identity through history, urban grain, scale, sculpture and ever changing skyline. Each year, Sculpture in the City returns to the Square Mile with contemporary works from internationally renowned artists. Launched in June , the 9th Edition presents a diverse curation of 19 new and returning sculptural works that animate the unique architecture of the financial district.

  The Mile will be a year-round, mile-long, outdoor sculpture display. Once installed, it will stay in New London for years to come, with each sculpture rotated out .   Since its inception back in , arty incentive Sculpture in the City has been livening up the skyscrapers of the Square Mile with a host of more colourful creations, a little closer to ground level.
